This activity can be completed by students as homework (using the power point presentation) or in class, during lecture/topic presentation. This activity aligns with the power point presentation/ lecture for the unit.
This resource provides two versions of student-guided notes designed to support all learners in the AICE Environmental Management course. These notes are meant to be used alongside your existing PowerPoint (not included in this resource).
Version A – For High-Level Students: Ideal for independent or advanced learners, this version requires students to copy all notes by hand as homework before class. This flipped-learning approach helps students come to class prepared, freeing up time for application activities, discussions, and AICE-style practice questions.
Version B – For Students Who Need More Support: This version is designed for students who benefit from structured note-taking during class. It features fill-in-the-blank prompts for key vocabulary and concepts, making note-taking faster and more accessible, especially for English language learners or those with processing difficulties.
✅ Both versions are aligned with the Cambridge syllabus. ✅ Perfect for differentiated instruction and exam preparation. ✅ Encourages accountability, engagement, and content mastery.
Please note: These guided notes are designed to be used with a PowerPoint or class notes presentation (not included).
A versatile and essential tool for AICE Environmental Management teachers who want to support all levels of learners—from high achievers to those who need extra scaffolding.
